Wheel Differences between 2009 and 2014
I'm trading my 2009 35I for a 2014 35Is. I bought a set of OZ 18 inch wheels for the 2009 and would like to use them on the 2014. I see on Tire Rack that there's now a question when buying wheels for a 2010 Z4 of whether it was manufactured before or after a date. Does anyone know what the changes to the wheels were in 2010 and if my 2009 wheels will fit the 2014?
Thanks. |

I don't believe there are any differences. Early 2010s (and obviously 2009s) have a slightly different design for the rear brake, but there shouldn't be any impact on the wheel barrel clearances. Tire Rack is a notoriously conservative site, so perhaps they are referring to the brake discrepancies (even though, again, it should have zero impact on the wheel choice)?

I believe there was a TMPS change. Tire rack or dealer can advise.
