P3cars Bmw E89 Z Series Vent Integrated Digital Interface
Just a little update on my ride. After installing my Cobb Tuning Accessport V3, I wanted to always display my module at all times due to the gauges that were on the unit. My only fear was that if someone were smash and grab my Accessport I would be out of luck to remove the tune because it is married up to the AP3. The only way to remove the Cobb Tune is if I had the original device that the car was married to.
I wanted something sleek and hidden from visibility when I'm not around. After surfing the net for alternatives on displays, I stumbled on the P3cars vent gauge. This unit solved all of my worries and gave me a peace of mind. The installation is VERY EASY and straight forward. You just have to remove the side panel,a few screws with an allen key and run the PnP cable to your OBDII port. I love how it is OEM-ish and at the same time allows you to select multiple options to display. I highly recommend it due to the OEM looks, easy access menu/options,compact design that doesn't compromise any cabin space and importantly the peace of mind of security. Pop it in and plug it into your car's onboard diagnostic connector. Then receive boost/vac, intake air temp, speed and RPM with shift-light - all live. -ECS TuningNo programming, coding, cutting, or splicing. Yes, it's a display that is connected to your OBD II.
