What's your thought on the engine cooling? Interested on whether you are planning upgrades there.

bmw performance is smaller than 35is brakes so you might want to reconsider unless you just want the looks then thats different

I'm not sure if 35is has a better oil cooler or not. anyone can jump in on that? 35i does have a decent oil cooler off to the passenger side front vent.

But so far my research haven't been conclusive. I'm not 100% sure I can even find pads and rotors for the performance brakes. or if its a better idea to just retrofit 35is brakes. and later do pads and rotor upgrade on that. lots of questions here.

our cooling system sucks. one time i drove the car at 120mph for 12 miles then back to normal. when the oil cools down, the car was telling me to add in 1qt of oil. i guess it burnt all that oil in a 6-7mins :/
the brakes, just use better pads, ss lines and vavoline oil to increase boiling point. after that, real bbk in needed for you |

my 35i will get the 30i option soon. one member here likes his rear slotted option he bought from this vendor to compliment his BBK fronts.

pretty sketchy marketing claim that the grooves enhance stopping power.
More like, grooves let you remove mud and crud and allow you to stop. Good stuff for rally prepped STi/EVO but pretty irrelevant for Z4 |

Yea I'm not convinced. I don't think modern pads "out gas" and the quality control of oem tends to be far superior.
