BBS CH-R

Hi,

thinking about getting these wheels to replace the standard 296 wheels since they keep cracking.

The tyre size on websites i've looked at seems to require a different tyre size than the stock tyres at 225/35R19 and 255/30R19.

2 questions:
1. will they fit the stock RFT tyres since i have 4 spare sitting at home.
2. these won't crack like the BMW 296 rims right? If anyone has them or have experience with them your comments will be appreciated.

mav.

Could be a good opportunity to ditch the RFT's and get some real tires.

mav.
1. the stock RFT tires in 225/35 and 255/30 will fit, but they will be more streched, because the BBS are 0,5" wider than the BMW rims. So I would recommend 235/35 R19 and 265/30 R19 non-RFT tires, because RFT-tires are not very comfortable.
2. I've never heared about cracking BBS CH-R rims - and here in Germany a lot of Z4's have these rims.

Thanks for the comments. Sounds like a good option.

The CH-R does look good on the z4 right?

Personally I like the looks of the CX-R style. Everyone makes knock offs of the CH-R. You can see all the BBS wheels here and make your choice. Ditch those RFT's. Hopefully you don't have a big investment in that spare set.

BBS makes really pretty wheels but I like a more open wheel design and they're not offering that. I'm looking around.
