I dont think you will see any coupe let alone an M coupe now that the Z4 is a hard top.

The coupe never sold that well anyway and with the fact that the roadster looks like a coupe now with the top up I think the Z4 roadster is all we will see.

There was also a lot of talk that there will be no M version of the Z4 this time, which is ashamed.

Agreed!

Out of curiousity, what motor choices will be available for the new Z4?

It was stated in the article the current 3.0l 255hp N52 that is available in the Z4 now and the 3.0L twin turbo from the 335.

At least in the US anyway.

This is a forum and I continue to wonder why people post the most lame and redundant questions on here without perhaps looking for and reading the information/answers to their questions first. This site, like most others, is meant to share and provide info, so geez, try using it!

Listen asshat! I've aware of the search function. I asked because I posted the question via cell phone, and it doesn't load the entire page. Had I been on a PC, the circumstances would have been different.

Thanks Staszek. I wasn't able to read the article or load all of the pictures due to surfing from a phone.

i'm not too thrilled about about the cockpit. they made it look like all other bimmers. i loved how the current Z4 has different dials, steering wheel, controllers, etc.

that blue is beautiful though.

i'm not saying it is the same. rather, individual components are. i don't know, you must admit the current Z4 has a very distinctive interior. the speedo/tacho dials use a different font, the needles are narrower, the steering wheel is very unique and the dash has all controls neatly tucked down below the main vents and the trim gets to show off a lot more real estate.

Personally I thought the previous Z4 was let down by it's interior, particularly the big slab of trim across the dash. I like how they've broken that up on the new one and introduced some retro themes along with modern tech. It looks like the materials are better quality too.

I was planning to go for the 18" composite style alloys, but after seeing how well Deep Sea Blue goes with the 19" wheels, my spec has changed.

Did nobody else go to the motorshow? I'm surprised by how few posts and new pictures there's been since the official unveiling in Detroit.

Anybody know if the Z4 will be in Philly at the beginning of Feb? I have to go up there for work and will be visiting the auto show, but their website is crap and doesn't list what's going.

I'm taking my Canon so I'll get some hi-res shots if it is.

Why does it have a different style of shifter? One looks like 5 ser and another one like 3ser.

If by distinctive you mean horrible I agree. That large swath of dash trim in the current Z4 is just too much IMO. The new interior, especially the dash is a major step up.
