Side Skirt Corner Getting Hit...

I just noticed that the top corner of the side skirt (pictured below) where the it meets with the door is really squared off and the paint in that part is pretty soft and every time I hit it with my shoe it gets a little dent and that is with mostly sneakers, I can't even imagine how much damage it'll do if I hit it with my dress shoes/boots heels. With a car this low, it is much easier to hit it when in a hurry or not paying attention. I've only hit it twice so far but it has left two noticeable dents that can be seen even with the door closed. It seems like one of those things you just can't avoid all the

This happen to anyone else too?

That's a new one for me. Better ditch the steel-toed army boots.

I am very careful when getting in and out of my Z4. However, when I had my 1 series I took it in for service and got it back with that portion of the trim all scuffed up. I swear they looked at me like I was insane when I brought it to their attention. Stinks to be particular.
