Blow off valves and the 20i

Has anyone managed to install a blow off valve on a 20i, without being invasive of the electrical systems?. Interested as it seems a fairly fun technical challenge...

Mainly due to the fact there is no vacuum source that will only be present on half/no throttle. Sure there's the vacuum pump, but permanent vacuum is not gonna do any good.

Anyone overcame this?
