2011 3-series coupe - led rings from bmw

got this from usatoday:

"The 3 Series Coupe and Convertible come standard in the U.S. with xenon headlights, accented by BMW's signature corona light rings. At the top, the new headlights merge into a trim bar cutting off the light beam to create that concentrated, focused look typical of a genuine BMW. The corona rings, now powered by super-bright LED light sources, can serve as daytime running lights if that feature is activated."

here is a link to some pictures:

I actually like the old headlights more. I think they did some great improvements for the 4 door e90 facelift... But this one kinda flops.

Check the SMG padals...looks like down shift on one and up shift on the other.

I want those "super-bright LEDs" as well!!! It's about time BMW upgraded. I know there are some aftermarket, but I would prefer a seamless switch.

I think BMW is planning on using these super-bright leds across the range. I bet they'll be available in the spring. The question is how much????
