Eibach springs for Z4

Does anyone have or know if Eibach has springs out for our cars yet (pro-kit). I ordered a set which turned out to be the wrong springs (listed 2009, but was for the E-85 coupe). I got a part # of 20109.140 from Eibachs site but have been able to find any to purchase. I guess I'll half to call them on Monday. But, if anyone knows if these are available now, or has pictures of them installed on their beautiful cars I would greatly appreciate a post! Thanks.

Wow, nobody knows anything. I guess I can't blame nobody since I called Eibach direct and they had a hard time with giving me information. After receiving a call back I was told the correct part # SHOULD be 20108.140 for the 30i, I guess the 35i had a different part #. Again, does anyone have knowledge of this because he did not seem to sure to me. Thanks

It seems like it's taking vendors forever to produce stuff the Z4.

Just checked Eibach.com and they now list springs for both the 30i and 35i

Looked and found them. Thanks

There's a difference in the lowering between the 30 & 35i, which I found interesting. Putting aside the difference in weight between the two cars, the Eibach springs kits actually lowers the 30i 0.4” (F&R) more than the 35i, even though they are the same initial height according to the BMW specs. Anybody have an idea why?

Eibach had this disclaimer in the web page which I'm not sure is applicable: (Exc. AWD & Leveling Control). The Sport Package isn't considered Leveling Control is it? I'm inclined to think not.

I inquired about this when I spoke to Eibach direct and even advised them that neither of these applied to our cars, I never really got an answer as to why they are different. At least I got them to correct their site. I would love to get this done now but these things are still not even available. Not through their distributors, or even Eibach (told me they had none in stock and did not know when they would get them). I would just get the H&R but I never had any experiences with them, and think I would like Eibachs set-up better. 1.2 in the front 0.8 in the rear vs. H&R 1.2 on all four corners. Anybody have pictures with the H&R set up on their car?

At least H&R has got something, but I would make sure the springs will work, particularly if you have the Sport Package. 1.2" is a pretty good drop.

On the snipped H&R web site charts for both models below, you'll notice they have the ride height correct, but they also have the same part number w/ or w/o Sport Package.

I assume the same spring will work w/ or w/o the Sport Package regardless, and am not sure if the stock OEM Sport Package springs are responsible for the lowered ride height or if the the OEM Sport Package dampers are responsible for the lowered height.

Yeah, I think it's strange that Eibachs 35i springs are listed as a .08/.04 drop vs. 1.2 all around on the H&R sprimgs? I do not have the sport suspension so I'm not that worried about it, however I did move up to 19" wheels but I don't think there will be a rubbing issue.

I think the Eibach is not enough in lowering height at 0.8 and 0.4
I wouldn't hardly notice the difference in stance.

The H&R are much better at 1.2".

Tried many suppliers here in Australia but no one has them in stock yet or are know when they are getting them.

Anyone know where i can purchase a set?

I have the 35i

Thx

Last time I checked,

tirerack.com

had them. They were $289 USD I believe. Ive had Eibachs on my last three cars but with as high as my Z4 sits, I agree with you, the Eibachs wont be a significant drop. So I'm also looking at the HR springs.

Thanks
Paul
