My father just bought himself a new toy, a BLK/BLK 2011 E89 Sdrive351s. It's got the 7sp DCT which is badass!

Oh, he lets me drive it! I'm the one that talked him in to finally buying himself a new car, plus, I'm the family car nut. His '91 Lotus Elan died and he was sad about losing his conv. He's always been a Bimmer fan. Our family has had a Euro spec 733i (5sp), 735i, 325is, 740il, 840ci, and 530i Sport. This time it was between a Porsche Boxster Spydier or the Z4. HE wanted a light weight cov sports car to replace his Lotus. He liked the Porsche and always has wanted one, but once he drove the Z4, he was sold! He loved the power, and you can't beat how a Bimmer drives with the sport pkg. I'm trying to talk him into the Dinan stage 1 flash for it.

My Girlfriend and I barrowed the key from pop’s yesterday and took the car out for its first road trip. We put about 200 minutes on it in in the 85 f and sunny, up in the Ossage hills here north of Tulsa, and then went and ate at Murphy’s Stake House (est. 1946). It was a Great time, and the car is amazing. It really loves the open road especially at speed.
