My experience with Evolve Automotive (UK)

I called Evolve a few week ago to book in my 35i for a stage 2 remap as i have recently had FMIC and AR downpipes fitted to the car.

My friend and I arrived at 11am after a 3 hour journey at which point we met Imran and Rizwan who preceded to read the map from my car.

An hour later the car was put on the dyno machine for the base run at which point the guys decided to have lunch.

To my amazement Rizwan offered to buy us lunch (Piri Piri Chicken and chips) which i wasn't going to decline.

After lunch the car was dyno'd and during the run, The check engine light came on and the car made 212hp?

Imran read the error code from the car and determined that there was a boost leak.

I had the downpipes fitted a week earlier and noticed a loss in power but put it down to the car needed a remap.

Rizwan said he was going to try to find the fault so removed the under tray to have a look at the DP's.

They was installed correctly so we move onto the FMIC and found that was ok too.

Rizwan noticed the the charge pipe wasn't correctly fitted and had a gap of 1CM between the pipe and hose connecting to the FMIC.

He then went ahead and started to fix the problem which involved removing the dual cone air filter, BOV, charge pipe and reinstalling them correctly.

This took nearly 3 hours of Rizwan's hard effort and time.
Anyone who has installed a STETT charge pipe will know they are not the easiest mods to fit.

Once everything was refitted to the car, The base run made 333hp.

Imran loaded the stage 2 map to the car made an astonishing 404hp.

The car is now an animal, The acceleration is like what you get on a rollercoaster. It's mental and i love it.

Free food, Free WIFI and fixing issues the car wasn't even booked in for was just great.
The service received from Imran and Rizwan was nothing less then amazing.
10/10 The best experience i've had the any car tuning company.

I would highly recommend anyone wanting to tune there car to pay a visit to the guy at Evolve Automotive in Luton (UK).

I also have super sprint cat back exhaust on the car.
Was told by the tuner to expect around another 10hp as the ECU adapts to the new map.
Those numbers were from the second dyno run!
415hp feels just phenomenal

what was the torque measured at?
AND
what is the DCT box rated to take?

There is a significant decline in the torque output, can this be felt at the top end?

would appreciate the answers.
