Style 296 Wheel Direct Replacement?
I have the Style 296 19"s and am thinking of replacing them with something black. I really love the mesh (kind of CSL style) wheels in black. Is there a DIRECT replacement that I could get that would fit my factory tires? My tires are practically new so I would like to avoid the cost of replacement if possible. Doesn't have to be HREs or anything, in fact, they can be knock-offs or whatever. I don't care about brand.
Barring a direct fit replacement, are there some wheels that fit the above description that would be a fairly inexpensive wheel/tire combo? I really love these: http://www.**********s.com/Eurosport...Wheels-BMW.htm But since they are .5" wider in front and back, will the stock tires fit? Thanks in advance! |

There are knowledgeable wheel supplieyers as well as experienced tire folks that will help you out. Good Luck, Rolf-Dieter PS. good move to get rid of the 296 wheels

I just installed my summer set with VMR 710s, those are really similar to what you are looking at, fairly inexpensive too. they look like this:

You will have to stick with BMW rims if you want too keep the stock runflats as they won't fit aftermarket rims.
You can fit non run flats to BMW rims but not run flats to non BMW rims. Tim. |

If you would consider 18" wheels, I still think the ones on my car are really nice. They were the OEM wheels on the 2010 model s30i with the sport package.
