How does the FType R V8 Jag compare to Z435is?
Anyone drive both (maybe with a tune on the N54 even)?
I've seen the relaibilty of the Jag to be a bit embarrassing (actual review cars were recorded as having problems including the new SVR models TWICE). One was an overheating issue and another one of the rear suspension arms hadnt been installed correctly. Interior on jag looks low rent. But V8 sound is great. I've driven a C63s AMG Coupe (new model) and its quick with a great interior. Last edited by Gunzaro; 10-11-2016 at 09:31 AM.. |

The F Type is an amazing toy, Its a great 3rd or 4th car. The z4 is more versatile and can be used as a daily. My wife and I can go on trips with plenty of room for 2 carryon bags. Can't say the same with the Jag.
I priced out a jag to have all the amenities as my Z, heated seats, steering wheel, nav, etc. It came out to $90k+.

I went over to the Ftype forum and it seems owners are super defensive about their cars hehe. So how does the Ftype R compare to the Z4?

LOL luckily I am on the NYC/ Long Island boarder so we have better roads. Manhattan isn't that bad either. Its Brooklyn and the Bronx where things get a rough. I think there are smoother sections on the moon than Metropolitan Ave.

Porsche has a deal on the Boxster and Cayman leasing now. $599/month which is what I was paying for my Z before I bought it out. If I had to do it again I may have gone the Boxster route...

The F-type R is a considerably more expensive, Looks good goes fast but the interior is a bit of a letdown. As others had said I would be more inclined to look at a Cayman GTS than a Jag.
