Does Anyone Know What This Bar Is?
So when I got my Z4, I noticed this bar in the trunk attached with some Velcro straps. I asked the salesperson what they were and he had no idea. They look factory as there are perfect slots in the backboard of the trunk partition for the Velcro straps to pass through but I have no idea what they do. My car does have the cold weather package so I'm wondering if its part of the storage package that comes with it, like the rubber tie-downs on the trunk floor are. I haven't been able to find any information on these things and I've searched and searched. Does anyone know?

It's for holding skis down should you take your Z skiing (never!)
 Although I think you need to turn it so that the rubber bands are facing up.

also you it should come with a sleeve for your tips of your skiis to go through the passthrough into the cabin. you cover the tips so they dont pierce the cloth.
