Excellent choice and those 20" rotors are the best looking wheels they offer. My next car will absolutely be an F-Type Coupe. Can't say I'll make the leap for an R, but I've had my eyes on a few S models in the region. <$60K for a nice used CPO, you can't beat it - nothing on the market compares. Just have to find one with the active exhaust feature, I'm surprised how many I find w/o it.

Ditto... previous wheels were way better

Man, i was dead set on a used 981 Cayman S but need to re-research/drive F-Type... used F-Type is very interesting.

Older ones are 2WD and supposedly have a lot of trouble putting traction down

+3!...despite the benefits of them being forged, they are way too "chromey" and bright. My favorite wheel was my previous diamond cut Gyrodyne wheel I had on my white one.

Yea the ones he had on the '16 were also nice, as are the 20" Cyclones they offer. I've seen the Rotors in person on one in town and they really catch your eye. The car looks like it's doing 100mph sitting in the parking lot.

True, they do look better in person than in pictures. Sorta like my silver Satan (666M) on my M3 ZCP looked better in person than in pics--F8x fan boys hated the silver Satans! The Rotors are growing on me a bit, but it certainly wasn't my first choice in wheels. I'm picking up a set of 19" Propellers next week for my winter setup, so it will be a nice change. I may platsidip the Propellers gloss black for giggles before I decide whether to have them powder coated. Funny story about these Propeller wheels, is that I'm buying them back from the guy I sold them to two years ago. He ended up never using them and it just happened to be perfect timing when I returned to the Jag that he was trying to sell them.

You on the Jag Forums yet? Pretty decent group, but nothing like here!

Already planting the seed with my wife to consider trading in our X5 for the X3M next year instead of an X3 M40i. I'm not going anywhere!

I just happened to be extremely lucky with the deal, as this is not the norm!
Car was close to $113k
Outstanding, about the only time a lease has ever sounded like a good deal to me. I think this is just the beginning, I'm hoping to see a huge correction in the auto industry in the next 18-24 months (possibly sooner). Cars are way, way, WAY overpriced and a correction is long overdue. Bring it on I say.
I am making the same bet. Sold my 335i recently and waiting for some nice deals (hopefully around December). Still trying to decide, but 911, TT-RS and G wagon are at the top of my list.

Congrats on your purchase

There is something about those 8 cylinders Jaguar cars these days........and the amount of sound that comes out of the exhaust is just insane. It's like fireworks on wheels haha xD

P.S.
How is the Electric Power Steering compared to the Hydraulic Power Steering used in previous model years?

That's like choosing between two swimsuit models and a linebacker.

I know... but there is some reasoning behind it.

1) 911/TT-RS: if I become single again and/or decide that I need a second car. I drive 2-3k a year so this will be just a weekend toy.

2) G wagon: if we are serious with the GF and decide to get 1 bigger car. I sold my car recently and now use her car when needed. She is a huge MB fan so G wagon was an easy compromise. She travels a lot for work and needs the car maybe 1-2 times a week.

You won't be disappointed. I've had mine for six months and still can't get over its looks and drive.

Coupled with dealers motivated to unload remaining stock, especially with the updated '18s arriving, the time to strike is now. I negotiated close to 22% off--as noted above a nicely optioned Honda Accord!! You can effortlessly get $20k off with a simple email, but supply is likely drying up, at least for the coupe Rs. I'm not into verts or think the F-Type in convertible form looks as good. Base models have some even crazier deals, but as previously noted, it's the R/SVR or nothing for me. Check out Edmunds Car Forums for Aug's rates, which I believe are the same from last month:
https://forums.edmunds.com/discussio...estions#latest

And BTW, I did not initiate this Thread ("Got another F-Type R"). I was commenting over on the F8x subforum about the Audi TTRS which I was also interested in, and I guess the moderators wanted to keep that discussion on topic and created this new Thread. Believe me, I'm not one to show off here on a BMW Forum about my new Jaguar--that has troll written all over it!!!
So you walked in & they said ok lease deal $1.54 per mo 0 down. Sure thing!

Maybe after XXXX thousand down
