Z4is owners can you help us out?

This thread needs some late model Z4 owner help. The BMW website states n55 specs but nearly every other resource states N54.

It would not surprise me if BMW sales/marketing have made a mistake.. It's not unknown especially on niche cars like the e89. A friend just got his e89 (new) and it's N54.

I have a 2014 35is that I took delivery of in June, it's an N54. I don't believe BMW plans to change the engine in the Z4 over the next two model years, but of course they could. As of right now, still N54.
Also, FWIW, the BMW NA web site does not specify N54 or N55, to my knowledge. It simply states: "Liter/type/valves per cylinder = TwinPower Turbo 3.0/inline 6/4". BMW has used "TwinPower Turbo" to describe BOTH the N54 and N55, the former with two turbos and the latter with one turbo and twin scrolls. Again, as of mid-2013 (2014 model year) it's still N54.
