Check again later. Sites being down for maintenance is quite normal.

Well yes and that one will be a keeper. I know some of you fellows here hate to see me around ... then I will always have found memories of my Z4 trip to the coast.

For a while there I was going to add a 2008 Z4M then I came to my senses and the new 2012 will be a keeper for quite some time.

I've just made this post ===> CLICK I felt compelled to clear the air with my car purchases over the past 2 years.

Yes I've made mistakes, still I had fun for both the e85 and the e89 are great cars. As others have suggested here I could have changed my wheels on my former e89 then the pull into another M3 was just too strong, something not everyone can understand.

I know I overstayed my welcome here in this z4 forum section, then I think on the other hand I've helped a few of the fellows out as well and that is after all what this forum is all about.

Have a nice Holiday

Cheers,

Rolf-Dieter

Rolf, one thing that has just struck me since your 2010 wheel debacle whilst reading your m3 posted link below.

You purchased that '09 Z used did you not?

Is it at all possible the bend & cracks you experienced on that vehicle were ALREADY THERE when you bought the car used?

By your own admission, you say you didn't do your homework on the runflats, so perhaps you inherited those bends & cracks from the previous owner, b/c it wouldn't have occured to you to pre-inspect the rims prior to the purchase.

You make a good point Dave ... Still purchasing this car from a reliable BMW Toronto dealership I certainly did not expect they would sell me a car with cracks in the wheels.

Dave, I like to put this behind me now ...

have a Nice Holiday

umm, you posted the link above to your m3 post, which talked about the cracks. I simply commented....

In any case, perhaps the dealership didn't KNOW enough about those wheels to check for cracks prior to sale.

Wait Rolf, you had a white M3 and now a blue one with ZCP wheels?! I thought you always wanted forged wheels like the one you had on the white one? My parts guy told me I should keep my forged wheels over the ZCP wheels as they are cast alloys. He also gave me price for both wheels. The forged were about $900 a piece and the ZCP are about $600.

Looks like the site is back up .... they must have done some mayor maintenance over the weekend or heavy reading on this fine Z4 upgrade

" this is when I stooped them in there track and informed them that M3's do NOT come with RFT ... I was put on hold and it was then confirmed to me that they are not
