I dunno what this part's actually called but notice the water or liquid stain on it...I tried windshield washer fluid, armor all, nothing gets it out. Any ideas? Thx.

Don't worry about it man.

If you really want to try something, try some vinegar on a small area. They look like calcium carbonate deposits from 'hard' water stains. The acidic vinegar might neutralise em.

Re:

Looks like the remains of hard mains water (minerals).

Try some white vinegar in a small area that you can test. It might break the calcium deposit down if you let it soak in.

Lemon juice also.

Reviving this because I gave up on it but want to try again: vinegar didn't work. Any other ideas?

Another prb I have is a fluid stain on my windshield. It left a streak down the pane and I suspect that it came from an overhead hydraulic fluid drain.

Do you think that CLR would work in either case or something else? Anyone have exp in these 2 prbs? Thanks.

On the glass you can get this stuff called Glass Scrub. It does miracles. If you wanna try it on the plastic after i guess you can? lol

I was also gonna suggest maybe CLR for the plastic.
