Hi, can anyone help me out? URGENT!!

Hi all,

I went with my girlfriend to trade-in her 128i for a Z4 28i (w/out iDrive) last night. It was really late after we finish up all the leasing documents so we didn't realize that the User Manual wasn't in the car with us

This morning when she drove to work, she called me and ask how to setup the auto door lock. I was surprised that the car wasn't defaulted to lock the door after driving off. (Because my previous M3 and current 650i has this function as default... )

Does anyone with the same type of car know how to set this function? I tried to find the settings in the little orange screen (I don't know how to describe that thing... sorry) but I can't find it, I also searched online and there's no answer for it...

I will be really appreciated if anyone can help us out on this.

it is in the little orange screen on my 2012 (also without idrive). I am traveling and don't have access to my car right now, but my recollection is that the symbol is a lock with the letter A, and options are "time" (clock icon.. car re-locks itself if you unlock but don't open the door) "drive off" (arrow pointing right icon), and "both" (clock next to arrow) and "off"

I have my car set to "both"

The other setting you will want to change is to make it so the seat moves automatically when you unlock the car with the key fob. It defaults to off, and the 2 options are seat moves to last memory associated with the key when the car is unlocked, or seat moves when door is opened.

I'm so urgent is also because I'm the one who persuade her to get the Z4, coz I really miss the hardtop convertible ever since I changed from E93 M3 to 650i coupe
