Anyone do the Emissions Recall Campaign / ECU Software Flash ECR-B0001-16-004?

(This is applicable to 2009-11 35i and 2011 35is to rectify some emissions output thing.)

I have since experienced a yellow CEL and not sure if it's related or not. I usually drive pretty 'normally', w/ rpms below 3K and sometimes w/ spirited sprints close to 5K but recently on a hwy run I held it around 5K for a few minutes, which I don't think is unreasonable.

Just wondering if there are any guesses which is more likely to be the cause of the CEL showing up?

Anyway, for ppl that did this recall, please let me know if there's anything noteworthy.

Is the emissions recall for Canada only?

I think is it Canada only. I haven't done the recall either.

No wonder if Canada only...shouldn't it be specific to the model? Or are they doing this to meet Canadian emissions law?
