Advanced M-School?
Anyone here go through BMW Performance Center's Advanced M-School recently? If so, could you post your impressions? Specifically, what do you get that's beyond the basic M-School at Spartanburg?
Went through the 2-day M-School in December and am considering the Advanced school at VIR in June. Thanks. |

I used to be an active member of m5board.com (had an '02 M5). Many of those members do the M School and Advanced M School. Here is a link I found on a trip report: http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/e60...chool-vir.html
PS: I have been to VIR several times in my own cars (the '02 M5 and more recently my '08 550i). Unfortunately the Z4 roadster is currently not allowed on VIR unless it has a full cage. I believe BMWCCA is working to allow the new Z4 in their events at VIR. I would go, of course. Here's a video of nearly a full session with the 550i at VIR: http://vimeo.com/2378171. If you skip to the 6 minute mark, I pass a 911 and have several fast clear laps before catching a really slow 911.
