Cleaning Tailpipe

Just wonder how people keep their tailpipe clean, I do mine with a cloth every now and then, but now I have noticed some grey staining (Tarnish). Will normal metal polish be ok because of the high temperatures?
Any advice would be great

I use NeverDull metal polish. No problems here.

Best thing I have found is the cleaner for Ceramic cook tops, no issue with the heat as it doesn't leave a residue, and is very very mildly abrasive so it doesn't put any swirls in the metal

I think ceramic cook cleaners have a little silicon oil in it to to make the ceramic "non-stick". I´m gonna try that on my wheels this summer to see if it is good against brake-dust. Product name: Delu (Europe).

Absolutely brilliant ChuckB! One of the smartest ideas on the forum!

Mayor problem - easy fix ( well at least a little mayor ) major?
