Received a Nice Surprise Phone Call Today

So, the phone rings just as I am leaving my office this afternoon and it's the sales manager at my dealership. My car is being offloaded at the dealer. A nice surprise at the end of a long week.

Here is the timeline on my car:

Order placed on Dec. 12
Paid for on Jan. 13
ED Pickup on Jan. 29
Transported by Vikase to Munich drop off - ??
Transported to Bremerhaven - ??
Ship departed - Feb. 10
Ship arrives in NJ - Feb. 25
Car at dealer - March 5

Not sure if this is a typical timeline but 35 days from ED pickup to the dealership is excellent! I am taking redelivery on Monday, March 8. Supposed to be in the mid 50's so maybe I can take a drive with the top down. Life is good.

Congrats rmorin49! it's finally here (well almost)

Drove my zed with the top down for the first time today. It was about 10-11C but very sunny so it felt warmer than that. What a great feeling it was!

Did you end up getting the new 2010 shape or because you ordered it in 2009 have you got the old bumper etc?

Sorry, but I have no idea what you are talking about. It is 2010 model. The only "new" bumper is on the s35is.

I have been through only round 7

I wish I had your energy and money. For me the joy is driving the car.

Thanks for your service. Temps are expected to be in the mid 50's on Monday with some sun so I might drop the top for a while.
