do 4 18" stock wheels fit in the trunk???

hi all, sorry to bother you with such a question but I would like to have a clear answer since I was tempted to pass by a German dealer from Belgium instead of paying the freight charges ... but then I would like to transport my 18" stock wheels to my garage.

anyone has had a similar query? thanks all

even if 2 fit, it would be enough of a good excuse to drive over to germany twice :P ... and get a new set of shoes for my Zed

Have you seen the trunk size? You wouldn't be asking this question if you had.

I could only fit one of my 19" wheels in the trunk (no tires), you might be able to stack the other 3 on the passenger seat

Unfortunately the stack will be too high. I had to drive 2x when bringing my 19" summer wheels with tires to another dealer. BTW: Put a plank under the wheels or you will impair the seat heating!

Best regards

Mick

Thanks Mick ! That is what I needed to know ... unfortunately there are people who are ready to mock you every minute but in a forum luckily they are the minority ... of course I check my trunk/boot regularly but to fit luggages or shopping bags NOT rims and tyres !!! And since I own 18" and I'm opting for 19" (and do not own a trailer or another car!!!) even when I receive the shipping on my doorstep, I need Mick's info to see how to go about transporting them to my local dealer ! Since my BMW dealer is quoting 4000euros for the 313 ... I will buy the same set from Germany for 2600euros !!!

Then pay the shipping and don't be so tight, you've saved 1400 Euros!!!
Then take your rims one at a time to your local tyre fitter.....it aint rocket science

Going 8 times (4 times each set) to and from my local dealer seems a bit too much ... will ask a friend to help me out. Sorry to bother you and thanks for those of you who replied with constructive answers. Cheers

As a not quite last resort, rent something more normal sized for the day, anything with a back seat should work.
