The Z4 uses a different charge pipe from the 335i and 135i and the only companies that make them are Stett and ER. The ER chargepipe will only work with their intercooler, so if you have another intercooler, this is the only charge pipe that will work. This charge pipe will also work with the stock intercooler. If you are running a tune with higher boost, your chargepipe will ultimately fail but who knows when it will happen. The plastic chargepipe on the N54 is known to crack and that is why most people that are running a tune upgrade their CP to a metal CP like this one. I am selling this chargepipe because I am selling my car and I no longer need it. It was installed on my car for about 6 months and it is in new condition. I comes with all of the necessary couplers, hose clamps and meth bung plugs. I paid $300 for it new.

Question... sorry if this is too basic but... don't other fmic kits come with their own pipe for the z4? I'd like to do a tune and I've read that you definitely need a fmic for this, would hate to get a pipe just to find out other fmic come with their own...

No. None of the FMIC kits come with a charge pipe. You will only get the pipe that connects to the charge pipe but not the charge pipe.
