Where can I purchase Black Kidneys?

My dealer is trying to sell me the kidneys that come on the 3.0. I don't think they are all black. Thanks.

I have no idea why, but my 30i came with the black kidneys... The car is sapphire Black but the one I saw at the dealers before I got mine was that color and had chrome kidneys. Go figure !!

I guess the dealer sells the all black kidneys, just didn't want the one's with the chrome edge. I will order them from my dealer. Thanks M3EST and memphis2012.

the 30i's come with black kidneys and the 35i with metal look kidneys.

no. the 3.0's have chrome surrounds and black vertical strips. the 3.5 have chrome surround and platinum silver vertical strips.

That's correct and the complete black one's are from the BMW Performance Line.

I test drove TWO cars - 30i and a 35i. BOTH HAD FULL CHROME KIDNEYS !! My 30i has the surround in CHROME and the VERTICALS in BLACK !! Dealer did not know why the difference !!

Any such thing as clear kidneys? maybe one were you could place blue LED's on top and have the verticals glow blue.. would look nice i think at night..

Just ordered the BMW Performance black kidneys from the dealer. They are coming from Germany, $79.50 each. Should have them in a couple weeks.

Not exactly... Apart from a set of carbon splitters, black kidneys and 313 alloys there is nothing specificly for the Z4. Some have the front brakes but they are meant for the 1 or 3 series, problem is that there is no system for the rear as the Z4 has an electronic handbrake...

I hope they come soon with the range but with the new M-package coming next spring it might still take a while longer.

I am not sure, haven't received them yet. I hope the entire grille has the matte black finish.
