Fitting a 2015 Steering Wheel on a 2011?
My 2011 steering wheel has the control buttons and shift paddles. Is it possible to fit a 2015 wheel with buttons and paddles? Is the wiring harness the same? Would the different functioning paddles work? Are the airbags the same? Thanks in advance for the help.

Normal Sport steering wheel all the same from 2009 onwards, M Sport Steering wheel all the same from 2010 onwards.
Have a check here..... http://bmwfans.info/parts-catalog/E8...owse/steering/ You may have to input your own cars spec, year etc for the page to come up for your Z4 HTH

OK, thanks. That answers the airbag question. They are the same. I still need to figure out if the electrical connections are the same (I assume they are) and if my 2011 (with paddles) will correctly interpret the signals from the 2015 paddles, which have a different operation.
