key fob battery

is there a way to change the battery on the key fob? my fob is getting ridiculous to lock and unlock the car. I have to basically stand right next to it to lock the door.

Yep. Here's mine; the panel marked "2" is removable using the notch just over the tab/protrusion.

You guys need to be talking about whether you have comfort access or not.

CA keys have a replaceable battery

Non CA keys charge in the ignition. If the battery is not holding a charge, then you need a new key or cut open the key and replace the rechargeable battery

What is stupid? That there is a keyless start option that is different than the base model that requires inserting a key?
