BMW Performance 313 wheels color ?

Does anyone know if the color shown above is the default color the 313 Performance rims come with ? They are a bit darker than the photo on the canadian bmw site showing those rims.

BTW, I have ordered those rims for my white Z4 so I'll be able to know first hand in about 10 days, just wondering if anyone knew...

I prefer the "darker" ones, to what it's worth, but maybe it's just the lighting of the photo.

It think it's the picture which is lighter (is that correct in english?).

By the way, what color will be your Z4?

I'm looking for a general overview of the Z4 with 313 BMW Perfs on it...

Nice rims & weighs about 10kg F & 11kg R which is decent for 19".
Seen it in person, it's in 2 tones with the darker shade inside ( sort of gun- metal color).

I think the 313 with the Deep Sea Blue is the ultimate combo.

It appears that that BMW marketing may have applied photoshop to the the size of the rear disk brake rotor. Do you ever wonder how they get those wheels perfectly lined up for a photo?

Yes if you compare normal alloy rims' color.

Love ‘em: is that an actual photo or modified by photoshop?

Based on that photo, it seems like the 19” are a little too large and am wondering if you can get the 313’s in 18" size?

I'm thinking of saving the stock 18" wheels and tyres as a winter set and run 313's w/ Pilot Sport PS2 18” for summer. Our SoCal climate is fairly moderate throughout the year.

Two things I’m worried about with the 19” wheels/tyres: 1) potential wheel damage, 2) ride quality. I’m assuming the 18” tyres would be a safer bet on both accounts, but I’m open for others thoughts on it.

The picture is picked up in another forum, but I don't think it's modified with photoshop or other.

The 313 performance wheel are also in 18"
7.5 x 18 front Offset 49 and 8.5 x 18 rear Offset 52
It's designed for a BMW 1 serie.

The Z4 E89 are 8 x18 front Offset 29 and 8.5 x 18 Offset 40

It will fit with spacers

Yes, you're right. They do exist in 18 inch (7,5x18 and 8,5x18) but only for the 1-series according to the catalogue. This shouldn't be a problem however... The only problem might be the offset but this can be solved with some spacers.

I would stick to the 19 inch though...

I love the look of the 19's but have several friends with very low profile tyres and they've had issues with potholes and such damaging their wheels.

The other thing I'm looking at ride quality. Running a tyre with slightly higher profile gives me more flexibility.
