Yes or No To Custom Red License Plate

In Texas we have the option to get various background designs for our standard license plates in addition to being able to order custom plates (not sure if it is like this in other states). Since I am registering my vehicle, I wanted to know if you guys thought ordering a red background license plate to tie in the tail lights and reflectors is a good idea or if I should keep it stock. Attached is a photo-shopped image of what it would look like with red and with a standard license plate.

Personally I prefer the stock plate, just because it makes you see the car more and isn't as distracting. Plenty of red on the back already. They both look ok though.

Holy crap, Texas has a ton of different designs. I think my favorites would be the bottom two 2 here:

I like the red but when you look at both cars together your eyes go to the red license plate rather than to the beauty of the car.

Definitely stock white

I like the one with the star in the middle.

If you have the option, I'd skip the red. Looks a bit out of place on a white car
