feedback on E89 alignment
Hey all, I recently got my car re-aligned to make some changes to the rear settings.
Previously the rear camber was -2.1 degrees and rear toe was 0.18 degrees The current settings (in degrees) are as follows: FL camber -0.5 caster 6.6 toe 0.14 SAI 13.9 Included angle 13.4 FR camber -0.9 caster 6.5 toe 0.14 SAI 14.8 Included angle 13.9 cross camber 0.3 cross caster 0.1 total toe 0.28 RL camber -1.6 toe 0.12 RR camber -1.6 toe 0.12 total toe 0.24 thrust angle 0 It seems like the car is a bit more prone to power oversteer on corner exit, and I think this is due to the decrease in negative camber and decrease in positive toe. I am thinking about going back to my old settings. Thoughts? |

Hey Nick,
There was a post of "stealing from M3" or something like that which was about suspension setups. I believe there was great info, and measurements posted from the OP. By the way are you running H&R sway bars? Maybe that could be adjusted? Just a idea. |

Yes, I saw that. Thanks for the reminder!
It seemed like the OP was still making changes so I didn't use those. My car has the stock suspension. I'm not too interested in sinking in $ into the Z435, just trying to optimize using no or low cost tweaks. |
