how to removed the front grilles

i know it's a stupid question, but is there a secret or trick.
Because i removed the grilles from the 135 and had no issue.
Now this Z4 as more space for your arm and hands and I can not release the latches.
i tried with a small screw driver to push the tabs to release them, but with no luck.
thanks for your help.

Hope this helps - Was very hesitant and had a lot of difficulty my first time as well. However, have done it a few times now and you just have to be not afraid to use force.

I'm happy you done it well. I had some issue because my screw driver fell inside of bumper so we had to remove front bumper and than remove kidneys. But with removed bumper it was done in few minutes and it wasn't hard to remove it!
Just advice for those who didn't do that yet :-).

For this issue- Screw driver falls inside the grills sections, or to reach the back side of the grills, all you have to do is remove the air intake.
Open the hood, remove the 4 screw at the front of the air intake and remove it.
This allows complete access to the inner section of the grill area. You can reach the grill snaps as well very easily.
FYI.
