Rubber Seal Maintenance

Hi all, I know this may have been asked before.

Do you do any sort of rubber maintenance care on any of the rubber trim around the car, especially the hard top area?

How often do you do it?

What product do you use? Gummi Pflege?

I use Gummi Pflege also. I apply it every November just before storing my car for the winter.

+1 for Gummi Pflege. I use it once a quarter on both my cars.

I haven't used Gummi Pflege on the Z4 yet, but I have used it on older SLK's before. I think it makes a huge difference, especially with older, untreated rubber. I bought an 03 SLK used that had bad roof noise when I bought it, Gummi Pflege fixed it right up.

I've never treated the seals and none of them squeak. Maybe the dealer has done it a every service?...
