iphone connection to usb and aux
Anyone buy a connector for their iphone 5s/6. I got the old connector for the 4s and older generation iphones. Does any of the ones on ebay work?http://www.ebay.ca/itm/iPod-iPad-iPh...3c1984&vxp=mtr
Or did someone figure out how to connect it through the bluetooth connection? Thanks (I have 2011 z4 3.5i if that info helps) |

The ebay cable shown should work fine. We got two separate cables for my wife's 2013 35i, but they basically perform the same function as the one shown. As for Bluetooth, it only functions for the phone connection, not streaming audio.

I was able to use my iPhone 4s to listen to music on my 2012 via Bluetooth. I know it worked for music stored on the phone. I think I used it with pandora once, but I can't guarantee that.

From what I have read and is my understanding, is that Bluetooth wireless Audio streaming is ONLY available if your Idrive has the Combox module (available only after 2010 models). Without that, you can only use Bluetooth for phone calls.
