A couple of questions....

Ya know, I've now been to two dealerships.
When I leave the dealership, I'm more confused than when I go in!
Here goes:

One dealer told me that I would have no problem ordering a 2010, while just yesterday, another dealer told me that production for 2010 30I is finished.
Said that I would have to order a 2011. Is that true?
They told me that all 2011 Z4's are due out in the Spring.
Not just the 35IS, but all of them.
I doubt that I will get any answers from calling BMW, as I doubt that the people that they have answering the phone would have this info. . .

I noticed that the treadwear rating on the tires is 140!
That's the lowest that I have ever seen. I figure that that is approximately
14k miles of use. Has anybody gone over 10000 miles with the car, and if you have, how does the tread look to you?

Thanks for any info!

The summer tires that come on BMWs with the sport package are notorious for their low treadware ratings. I know some have gotten upwards of 20K but it really depends on how your drive. As far as ordering a 2010 vs a 2011, all dealers should have the same information but some may still have an allocation left for 2010 while others may not. This may be why you are getting a different answer depending on who you ask.

If you order - it in fact may be a 2011 due to factory change that is probably done or close to it for 2010 production. I think this is good for you but for the small price increase on 2011s

as far as tire wear is concerned, i would expect 15k with 20k at the outside as well.
