Eisenmann Quad Tip Exhaust Fitting

Hi guys,

I am about to order this quad tip exhaust from Eisenmann.

http://www.eisenmann-sportauspuff.de...e35i_225kW.php

4x76mm tips.

I measured the rear bumper space, and its about 140mm, so the quad tips wont fit the standard bumper as far as I can tell.

How would I go about fixing this problem? Anyone who installed this exhaust, what did you guys do?

Installed the Quad tips on a 30, and had to cut the right side out to match the left side, see My Garage for pics, but having looked at a 35, you will need to widen both sides and may trim up a bit to the top of the raised portion. My cutouts are 21cm wide by 8 cm high [8.25" by 3.2"], hope this helps.

The dual 35 tips use the same mufflers as the Quad tips and a "Y" pipe to shrink them into 1 outlet

godius - good decision on the Eisenmann; I solved this problem by not cutting the bumper and ordering the 2x90 mm Race Exhaust. i really like the 4x76 mm but I was scared to cut the bumper

Make a mold from an 3.0 and mirror it?

Sounds like a great plan. Any links, where can I order this diffuser? I found this one http://www.3ddesign.jp/english/product_aero_E89Z4.htm but im not sure if its competable wit the eisenmann exhaust. I could not find any measurements.

You guys who have already installed the Eisenmann, is it worth the money? I mean is there definite improvement in sound?

The 3d Design rear diffuser is actually made directly for the Eisenmann exhaust. We actually had the Eisenmann exhaust installed, did all the measurements and 3d Design then use those dimensions to create the 3d diffuser.

So that piece will be 100% compatible with the Eisenmann quad.

I have been on family vacation for a week in Colorado and the Z4 is at Stett Performance having the Intercooler installed. Stett told me yesterday that the FMIC is definitely done and that we will love it!!!! So Godius, when I get the car back in two or three days I will take video and post it on Youtube. The sound is way better with the Race Exhaust option but there is more constant cabin noise when just driving around (this is a low rumble). We prefer the glorious exhaust sound as my wife only puts about 7000km a year on the Zed.
