Just out of curiosity I ran some numbers, and I am assuming with a MSRP around 58K and those packages, it must be a 28i you bought.
So an sDrive28i with just those packages and not much more the MSRP on BMWConfig is $58,895 and invoice is 54365. I would expect to easily get a deal of invoice + $1000.00 and no markup on the MF. With no Cap reduction (and a drive off of about $1000-$1500) I get a payment of about $665 (incl California tax), that is not the absolute best deal to be had as I did not include MSD, ED, or any incentives. But it gives you a rough idea of what you are up against if you try to unload the lease. Sorry for the bad news. Can I guess that you probably bought it from Stevens Creek BMW? If you are thinking of getting into another BMW (3-series), I would repeat the suggestion above to contact your CA to see what they might be willing to do, or better yet try one of the board sponsor over on bimmefest in the Ask-A-Dealer forum. There are three or four West Coast CAs, who come highly recommended and will treat you fairly. |

I've always done this in the past with leased cars because I get tired of it before the end of the term, but you can sell your Z4 outright and terminate the lease with no consequences.
Call the leasing company and find the payoff amount, sell the car, payoff the lease, and you're done. Of course, if your cap cost was high, then you may lose part or all of your down payment and then some, depending on how much you can sell the car for. |

Sadly, the Z4 isn't exactly flying off the lots so chances of selling it for a good amount is almost slim to none.
