Dynaudio/Morel/JL Audio System Upgrade 2009 Z4 sDrive35i
Thanks to the fantastic guys at Phatt Audio Concepts (Braeside, Vic Australia) and a brilliant uncle with exceptional woodwork skills we were able to turn the Z4 audio system into an absolute monster.
Hope you like the pics: |

Looks very good and i suppose it sounds good also.
Do the amplifiers generate heat? Are you able to use the trunk? +1 for your uncle! |

Thanks for the feedback guys...
Amps get a little warm but never really hot. There is no glass in the middle section so it ventilates well. I have another plain carpet board that I put over the top of the amp covers which makes the boot usable for a few small things. I could even lay my golf clubs in sideways (which was part of the design plan) but now I think it would make things too dirty!!! |

Although it has been a while since you installed this, what are the specifics on the equipment that you had installed? Since it looks like you retained the OEM headunit, did you use a sound processor (such as an Audison BitOne) to get around the heavy EQing?
Great work! |

Nice job! You have bigger box than I do...I assume you have a way better low frequency bass..... I love how it looks. What's the budget? What speakers did you use?
