Where does the license plate go?

Overall I'd say meh but it will look good in an ///M version I'm pretty certain. Imagine a nice CF aero undertray for the rear bumper...

Don't know looks like they are just prepping the car. Interior was Exclusive Ivory White...supposedly this color combo is for the first year only. This car was stickered at $60k...

Look at the little sticker on the rear bumper, the license plate will be on top of the sticker and basically cover it.....the sticker is the VIN # of the car

nice design. but when i look at it i just cant help thinking big heavy ponderous. a freakin MX-5 nearly weighs 1000 lbs less! i know they could trim some fat.

Sorry. This isn't no craptastic tin-can Mazda. This is a luxury-sport roadster. Hail BMW for this one. Awesome!

An MX-5 may weigh 1000lbs less but what relevance is that? Using this logic, maybe people should consider a Fiat Barchetta...

Every review I've seen/read says it drives well and sporty, and it rides nicer than the older Z4 since its softer. Seems like BMW is making this car a more premium vehicle, and opening up space (size-wise, $-wise, and quality-wise) for a smaller Z2.

Not sure if it's the angle of the shot but looks like it's going offroading.

we got ours yesterday (a 30i and 35i). just got back from driving the 35i....

...and ill say that it doesnt take much to throw the rear end out...at all

as for the ride height: it does ride pretty high but neither of ours have sport package so im assuming most demos are not being shipped with sport package

Went to BMW of Santa Maria yesterday to get some scheduled work done on my '06 SG E90 and just so happened to come across a Black Sapphire Z4 sDrive30i (Sticker= $51K) being detailed. Which was interupted by some Sales dude who tried to sale me a New 7er LI that was $92k next to it....lol!!! You can't Blame the guy for trying...! No offense to the 7 series but if I'm parting ways with my 3 series for that kind of cash I'd get the Space Grey E93 ///M3 on they have on their showroom for $62K

P.s. (will get pics of the Z4 and post at a later date)

the car is supposed to be 25% stiffer than the last z4 for what i have heard.

@ac328 I have also heard that the ivory nappa(desgin pure white) is going to be limited for this year.
