Quick update after driving for a few weeks: Super happy with the TMC. Also my mounting on the back of windshield fluid box (ended up using a glue gun plus duct tape in case it should break from vibration, plus stripping the wires) is smooth enough.
In my mind I feel I have a tad bit more turbo lag than I had before, but in any case (both from subjective feelings and repeated timings) the car is significantly faster. Also, the cold engine start sound is eeeeeven cooler than before! Nerd-sidetrack: Curious how the N20 is assembled? Have a look: |

Hello , any news about the chip tunning ? I wonder users feedback about different companies , I am planing to order JB4 for my 2.0sdrive but I have some hesitations about being harmfull to the engine in long term.

I've been running my TMC box for over 2 years now and it's been fine. Oddly though I've noticed that they no longer sell the 240bhp version. They only sell a less powerful 220bhp version.

Hi guys,
Just want to share with you a project that we have done here in Portugal with a Z4 20i (184hp). We choose a Eisenmann Sport Exhaust System + K&N Air Filter and do a first test where we reached 209hp/333nm (we were expecting to get about 15hp/20hp from the exhaust/filter and it seems that the engine should have originally around 190hp) After that we have done a remap and the final numbers are these (using 98 octanes) - 292hp / 449nm You can see more photos here: MPSCustoms |
