I dont want to lose my cool

I just got back from taking my rear tires to the shop to have them replace the tires. I got the tires all teh way back home and looked at the inside of the rims and what do i see? Huge gouges in the rims. I cannot win for losing. I didnt lose my cool but I am not a happy camper at this point. I think they are so bad they cannot be repainted without the gouges still showing. Any ideas what to do to lower my blood pressure right now?

SooOOooo sorry.
Not acceptable. Any past history with that service location? They owe you at a minimum to pay for an attempt to repair with a mobile wheel service.

Garage List
that's why you need to pick the tire installer carefully... Some of these guys are really careless.

yep i hate to admit it but it was that kingdom tire place. (not saying the exact name for legal purposes). they tried to negotiate to pay part of power coating them but i said. NO! DUMMY! so they offered to replace them. Now i need to get the money back for the install! i will NEVER ever ever ever go there again. Cheap for a reason

nice. getting money for new OE wheels is the way to go. glad that worked out.

I am VERY picky about who I let access any of my vehicles. Has to be family or a location I have a long history with or a personal referral from another enthusiast that I trust.

You should be able to get the gouges filled and repainted and lacquered, but it's a disgrace that it happened in the first place
