Switch old front lights and indicators to lci

Hi everybody,
all we know that our z4 had been refresh with some innovations as the direction indicators and the front lights.
I'd like to switch my old lights and indicators pre-refresh with the new lci one.
I went to my bmw dealer in order to know the real possibilities of this project, results: nobody know if the new lights and indicators are compatible.
I try to see on Real OEM if is it possible..but it's not so easy to understand.
I don't know if they have the same form (i think Yes but i'm not pretty sure) and also i don't know anything about the supported voltage and about the pin connectors.
Any ideas?
Please help me.

There is a very long thread about switching the side indicators here: http://e89.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=833800
Many of us have done it and it's easy. These headlights are a different matter. I believe it can be done but it is very expensive.

No problem at all.

It seems it's not possible for now because of different wiring but maybe somebody can find a way to work around that problem.

Is there any confirmation on this? Who informed you about a different wiring harness.

Thank you for the information.

Now I'd like to know something about the headlights. I hope that it'll be possible.
