Here is my blue one with 313's with Michelin PS2. The wheels are maybe 10mm further out than 293's I had before.

I absolutely love those wheels!!!

It's going to be a tough choice between those and 326's

I am not sure pilot sport a/s is not available at the right size for bmw 19" wheels for the car. At least tirerack.com does not list those sizes (225/35R19 and 255/30R19).

OK, sit down and hold your breath...

Aftering ordering the Sdrive30i with M sports pack etc, I enquired as to the 313 wheels as an option.
Was told that you can't change them if you opt for the M sports pack.
THEREFORE, I asked how much to swap the 326Ms for the 313s at the dealer before I took delivery of the vehicle...

Cost:........ A$5620!!!!
If done before delivery - they were going to add on Luxury car tax on that component as well!

Apparently there are NO 19 inch 313s in australia...

This is crazy money...
I guess I'd better just start to love the 326M's!

Unless anyone in australia wants to buy my 326M's for $5620!

Hey guess what cwliew, i just got a price on the 313's...$6900! You can buy an entire suspension set up for that price. So they are basically just giving you about a grand for the 326!

Tot, quick question on the ride. Do you hear or feel any difference compared to yout 293s?

I did exactly wat you did. Swap mine 293s out and got the 313s with PS2.
When I drive at 60-80km/h range, I hear faint rotating blades coming into the cabin. Sounds like from the rear. The sound is more distinct if you take the foot off the pedal at 60-80km/h on a straight road.

Funny thing is that if I sit in the passenger side, the sound is very very faint..almost non-existent. I did wheel alignment and tire balancing and can't seem to get rid of the noise. Also checked all the wheel bearings from all 4. Did not seem to be the prob either.

Some folks told me that the bigger the rims (with big blades..not turbine type), you will hear more such noises.

U hear them?

I was thinking about the Miro too. But if you look on the 1 addicts site there are a lot of bad comments about **********s. That plus the current exchange rate and import duties put me off totally; especially since you are already getting wheels in the Msport package.

Even though the profile is lower, the Michelins are much more comfortable. Rough patches and manhole covers are softer compared to Bridgestones and not something to avoid.

I haven't had a change to try more spirited driving yet, but the grip seems to be much better. The Bridgestones lost grip quite easily on fast starts and when accelerating on bumpy surface.

I haven't noticed anything like that. They sound a bit different from 293's, but for me it sounds just the tires. I have been doing only top-down driving with 313's so far.

Maybe a customer cancelled the order after they saw the front haha! Bit strange a dealer would have a Hartge front fitted to a new car.

I ordered the beige interior as well, as didn't want the ivory white with the darker wood. Also, have M sports, and I quite liked the carbon alum - but will see what it looks like when it comes.
AlexT - made a decision yet? Saw you were contemplating 35i and 35is...What was the quoted price full retail on the 35is? It was JUST not avail when I ordered mine I think, but they said it was going to be somewhere in the order of 160...
For that money, would get something else...but maybe for 135-140 it might be worth it...

Saw a 30i today in Adelaide in space grey - looked wicked. The red interior didn't...

I havent got an official quote on one yet, but still tossing up between the 35i and 35is. Fiancee reckons go with the 35is. But I am not so sure.

The RRP BMW price for the 35is is $129,900 (inc GST + LCT). So plus stamp duty & a discounted dealer delivery it will be mid $130k I expect. In that price range there are only Porsche items and the Audi TT-RS.

Apr 2011 there will be the new SLK introduced which could be interesting. We should know more details over the coming months.

I quite like Space Grey in the Z4. Titanium silver looks good too. But cant beat black!!

BTW: I agree on the beige leather. Really liking it. I think the white might be too much of a contrast and the off-white beige gives a nice, calming luxury atmosphere. Red might hurt your eyes after a while. Walnut is a consideration.
