Wife and I love to cook. Fun to see what everyone else is doing.

Tonight:

Fresh linguini with French rose garlic shrimp, shiitake and chanterelle mushrooms with asparagus in a saffron white wine cream sauce.

Looks delicious, but the cynic in me says this thread may have been timed to this meal.

What were the last 3 homemade meals and how recent were they?

My wife and I love to cook. This is a pretty normal dinner for us.

#dinklife

This morning we had a mushroom spinach quiche, last night was roast chicken marinaded in a balsamic, herb de Provence sauce with fingerling potatoes. Pork roast stuffed with garlic and cooked on the rotisserie with a mustard, rosemary crust. A simple rib steak, reverse seared with Montreal steak spice, served with a salad of arrivals, home made picked beets , roasted almonds, feta and a balsamic glaze.

Wow, you can make your own dinner at home? Is that what the funny square box with the four round areas is for? I tried storing beer on the shelves inside the boxy part, but it did a lousy job of keeping them cool.

Looks a lot like my dinner, except mine was fettuccine with grilled chicken, served on a paper plate, eaten on the couch, in my boxers. Didn't bother to take a pic.

My lunch is usually just more of what I had the night before, stuffed in a Tupperware, or served on a giant bed of greens.

My last three homemade meals.

Short rib over garlic mashed potatoes.

Pork belly tonkotsu ramen with tamago.

Beef cheeks with a panko-crusted soft boiled egg and sauteed mushrooms over creamy truffle polenta.

All proteins cooked via sous vide between 48 to 72 hours.

+1

EDIT: This is the leftover short rib with a mushroom cream sauce over bowtie pasta. Not bad for a repurposed meal.

BTW, your linguine looks delicious!
