M Sport Rear Bumper - Need Color Code of the Diffuser

I recently got lightly rear ended and my rear bumper is getting replaced.

I am using this as an opportunity to upgrade to the M-Sport rear bumper.

Does anyone happen to know the paint code for the lower diffuser piece? I believe it is a dark gray gloss of some sort.

It apparently does not come pre-painted and the body shop would rather not guess, nor would I.

This is for a 35i, by the way.

Here are a couple of pics - it looks black here but I'm pretty sure is a dark gray in reality.

Thanks for the help.

Thanks. Is that lower diffuser piece a true gloss black, or a dark gray?

I think it's just a piece of unpainted plastic, definitely not glossy

Actually the iS has a totally different diffuser than a non iS.

Regardless, you can paint it any color you want. Why do you want to match it to stock?

As far as I know the lower part of the bumper comes all finished in dark gray gloss for all versions (except for the 35is) and needs no painting anymore.

For the 35is it is different, this one comes in a primer and needs to be painted in the colorcode of the car.

When I had a duplex exhaustsystem installed on my sDrive23i, I also changed from the standard bumper to the M-bumper but opted for the 35is version. But instead of having it painted in Saphire Black (like my car) I chose to have it painted in the same dark gray gloss as the other diffusors.

Thanks all. This interesting and more complex than I thought. I'm sure the shop order non-is M Sport parts. I need to stop by and see what that bottom diffuser piece looks like. I think I will go with body color ( alpine white ) on everything but that. If that piece came in as black textured plastic I will leave it alone, otherwise do a dark gray gloss.

Appreciate the input.

I think this is a hard one, getting the color code from the M rear bumper. If I had been the person to choose, I would have painted the diffuser in Sophistogrey. That is as close as you get to that dark grey color on the M sport bumper. This is also a BMW color. And it`s really nice.

The code is: A90
