Ess tuning BMW warranty

Will the tune void the warranty ? Even if I put the car back In stock ?

Not sure about you US guys, but here in the UK that's like asking ' If I bend the doors further than they normally go , will BMW fix it under warranty? '. No they won't because you did the damage. So here in the UK if you put new software in your car, which results in the engine breaking, then tough, because you did it, it wasn't BMWs fault.

Can the software be detected ? Even when returning the stuck software?

We have never had a customer who re-flashed their car to their original stock file have issues with warranty or service to my knowledge. Our E-flash interface saves and allows you to re-flash your 100% original stock file at anytime.

That being said there is always a risk when modifying your car in any way that could cause issues with your dealer.

I understand that there is always a risk , but my question was can the tune be detected AFTER it's returned to stock?

I have done some resarch, the Dealers say they can detect, ESS has stated no one has had issues. This question has kept me from doing it as well, kind of waiting on last service and then I wont care!
