Friend did, rented it at Sebring. we both bought a GoPro instead of the 1k smartycam and we still debate the buy. Probably end up going back and getting the smartycam.

Did he hook it up to the ECU?

No, just a rental so only had the internal G forces and GPS indicator on screen. The ECU hookup appears simple enough and provides some great info according to advertising. This is still an option for me, maybe a christmas present to myself

Their ECU compatible list doesn't include the e89.....

Wow, 8 months ago it did, they took it out? Strange! I just looked it's gone so I guess that option is out.
