Cup holder madness
So I enjoy a cup of coffee on the way to work and/or way home. Me Z doesn't the clip on cup holders as most of you guys do, from BMW service I found out that RHD vehicles don't get those. Instead, we're supposed to get cup holders in the arm rest between the seat, my car doesn't have those either. Just a flat spot for knick knacks.
Now this isn't a big inconvenience but I'd be happier driving top down with my coffee/smoke. Should I retrofit the arm rest with the cup holders or any other idea, please suggest. Thanks, |

The cup holders in the arm rest work really well, but I like to keep both hands on the wheel and drive it the way it was meant to be driven.
Pease note that I did not include any "Drinking & Driving" jokes.... |

What? You don't have a butler to hold your coffee for you? Why does BMW allow the common people buy these wonderful vehicles.
I'm kidding of course (and if you've been around long enough you'll understand the reference) . The arm rest cup holders will probably work fine for coffee cups. Taller cups/bottles will fall easily under braking. |

@ChuckB
I'm up for driving responsibly but I spend 50% of my driving time in bumper to bumper traffic. @juhap ROFL. Coffee cups is all I need it to hold so I guess I should be good. Any suggestions on where I could order the panel? |

However, if I had to go home in bumper to bumper traffic I would take public transport and or get onto a bike ... naturally one needs to stop smoking in that case just kidding. here are a few ===> Click to view some ideas it's actually good for your Z4 read all about it bottom of the link. Also a few other ideas ... people do always find a way

@Rolf
Those things would look hideous. Glad you guys aren't bashing me up for smoking in the "BMW" though. @az34 I got the DCT, won't be changing gears all that much. |

Both photos are 911's. When I had my Porsche I never drank in the car...

So I managed to find the correct part number, most listed online are not correct. Parcels on its way here, installation is very simple (4 screws).
Also treating myself to a new grill and SPORT antenna as BMW calls it. |
