Z4 in header = Deep Sea Blue !! Full list of Z4 colors

A lot of people were wondering this (including me), so the awesome blue color we see in the header car is Deep Sea Blue

Here's the list of exterior color choices:

Metallic
Black Sapphire
Deep Sea Blue
Metallic
Orion Silver (this is the silver we see in the BMW press images)
Space Gray
Titanium Silver

Nonmetallic
Alpine White
Jet Black
Crimson Red

Couldn't agree more!! Looks like Deep Sea Blue and Orion Silver are the only new colors that haven't been on other BMWs yet.

Tried to compare DS Blue on the New Z4 against DS Blue on the 5er. Not getting the same feeling with the 5er. Starting to think the New Z4 is so perfect, it could make make a Puke Green suit look good on Governor Blogojevich.

Deep Sea Blue is available on the 5 Series.

If I go for this car, I'll be tempted to blow the cash to get them to do a custom color for me. Ruby Black would do it, I think!

Thanks for the list, really love that DSB.

One thing though, Crimson Red and Alpine are listed under both Metallic and non-Metallic. AFAIK there is no metallic version of those colors so those are probably mistakes. If there is a metallic red and metallic white, they'll probably have different names.

I thought the press release said 9 colors. Where's #9? I would love to see a dark red or shade of maroon. BMW never has a good red on any of its cars. I for one think it would look perfect on the new Z. The Crimson Red needs to go or needs to get darker. Remember the metallic red on the latest RX-8 Mazda. Now that's a hot red.

I agree that Deep Sea Blue is the best shade so far. My wife likes the Orion Silver but I just can't imagine buying a beige colored roadster.

What interior colors should we expect besides black and the new white leather option?

Not feeling the Orion Silver. Looks like an old Audi color called "Melange."

Havanna is available with the white leather option, so I guess it is #9

White, silver, space gray, black, red... When a good photochop is done, all look great on this car. Agree that the blue is stellar, but we will see lots of colors look great on this model.
