Thanks. I hate to emote on a forum - not exactly contributing much. I'm seriously wondering if this car is just a blind spot because it is so low? Am I smoking crack? Just bad luck that it has happened twice to me in two weeks? Please tell me the rest of you aren't having this problem and its just an aberration ...

Sometimes where you park can make a world of difference. I can personally attest to high school lots being about the worst place. Five years ago, just starting a new job as HS counselor, my wife parked her pristine 2006 Miata as carefully as she could in the school lot, only to have the LF fender and driver's door taken out to the tune of $3500 by a hit and run student driver who backed into the car. Fast forward 5 years when she's 5 months away from retirement and the same thing happens to her Z4 in the same lot. Only this time to the tune of $6300!

I really watch out for door dings now - as I have 3 in less than 2 months. I make sure the other drivers door will first hit the mirror, and that seems to be working.
Usually it's the rear doors of others vehicles (SUV/trucks (I live in Texas - they are everywhere)) that cause the damage (damn kids don't care)... Also been parking crooked (diagonal) in my spots, because as soon as i pull to one side to offer the most room, some douche with a large vehicle (see above) comes and encroaches on my space. |

Well my local shop is good - they'll spray a new bumper and then mount it and a new headlight. Won't know the difference. Not sure how long paint needs to cure before I clear bra the bumper again.
I ordered Forgestar F14's in bronze burst for the car today. 19x9 ET35 and 19x10 ET38 with Yokohama s.Drive tires. H&R springs, sway bars, and Luxon strut bar all arrive next week. About 2 months on the wheels since they are to order. I also have all the carbon fiber bits - front splitter, skirts, diffuser ... so we'll see how it all comes together, at least aesthetically. I've started collecting up stuff for the engine, but haven't decided which intercooler, etc. Filippo |

In regards to the intercooler, check out the personal ads on the forum. I know some one is selling an ER intercooler w/ charge pipe. Also here's a link for the IND reflectors http://ind-distribution.com/ind/bran...-reflector-set
